Bengaluru police apprehended Shivu, a serial housebreaker, who astonishingly claimed his crimes were to fund the education of underprivileged students. Shivu, along with accomplices Anil and Vivek, allegedly broke into several houses, amassing around Rs 22 lakh. He stated that he spent Rs 14 lakh on school and college fees for 20 students and bought auto-rickshaws for his aides.
