This is the spot to be if you are looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, a true diner with a retro vibe, incredible food and a welcoming atmosphere. Don’t be surprised if you have to wait to get in, queues are often out the doors for weekend brunch, but it’s worth the wait. Expect local food, ethical, sustainable and seasonal ingredients are the norm here when possible. All the dishes are prepared in house, which makes it easy for people with allergies to eat here. Heck they even use rice flour in their fryers so they can accommodate people who are gluten free. Count on real butter, fresh herbs and a stellar black cherry cola. For breakfast though due yourself a favor and order the Breakfast Poutine, complete with poached egg, Quebec cheese curds, basil hollandaise and rosemary hash; absolutely delicious!
