Owner Chris Marsh named his establishment after a song that Johnny Cash worked on for 40 years because he considers the bar a work-in-progress too. Actually, this former chainsaw shop appears to be falling down, but that's just part of the charm.
The small beer-and-wine joint is crammed with Cash memorabilia, making it a must-see for fans of The Man in Black. The layout of the square bar, with the bartender in the middle, gives you two choices: start a conversation or feel really awkward sitting there in silence.

Fresh air is a few steps away on the back porch, where local country bands perform nightly, attracting a largely 20-something crowd.
