The spray can artist

While most people see graffiti artists as vandals more than creators, their talent is often undermined and in reality is impossible to measure. Taking the art of painting on walls to the streets for passersby to witness, the spray can artists around Prague seem to be on a mission to prove their mettle. Armed with an array of aerosol spray paints and a dozen canvases, all spread out neatly on what seem like plastic sheets, they bring out magic with the help of colours. Watching them work is like watching a renowned painter on steroids. Catchy hip-hop music plays in the background and they spray on with all the energy in the world, stopping momentarily only to swing to the beats.
You will be surprised at how squirts of yellows, reds, blues and greens come together to form a breathtaking sunset over the horizon. And then, a dash of purple interspersed with a whole lot of orange, a generous spray of black with splotches and traces of white will collectively result in the most fantastic cityscape you will have ever seen. The final creations can be bought at a small price and considering their beauty, you might just be compelled to get one for yourself. A good look at the amount of hard work that goes behind each of these pieces will make you wonder why they aren’t displayed in museums.
