53-year old homemaker Geeta Singh Gaur to become third crorepati of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13; a look at the previous seasons' winners

Homemaker Geeta Singh Gour (53), the latest contestant of the quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, took home the prize money of Rs. 1 crore. Host Amitabh Bachchan gave her a standing ovation as she attempts the jackpot Rs 7 crore question on the show. She is the third Crorepati of the season. Season 13: Geeta Singh Gaur

Geeta Singh Gaur (53) is a housewife and has spent her life taking care of her home and raising her kids. The new promo of the Kaun Banega Crorepati shows Geeta driving a jeep in her hometown and host Amitabh Bachchan gives her a standing ovation as she wins Rs. 1 crore. Geeta is heard saying that this is the "second inning" of her life and she wishes to live for herself.

Season 13: Himani Bundela

A teacher by profession, Himani Bundela (25), has an impaired vision but did not let it act as a hindrance in life. She was the first contestant to win Rs. 1 crore and impressed the host by her jovial personality. Himani stated she would use this amount for the betterment of the underprivileged children. Certainly, she's an inspiration for many.

Season 13: Sahil Ahirwar

The 19-year old Sahil Ahirwar from Madhya Pradesh won Rs 1 crore in the ongoing season of this show. Sahil is preparing himself for UPSC exams and aims at being an IAS officer to bring reforms in the society around him.

Season 12: Mohita Sharma and Nazia Nasim

Mohita Sharma is an IPS officer and another contestant, Nazia Nasim became 2 crorepatis of the 12th season. Both these women impressed host Amitabh Bachchan with their knowledgeable skills as they won Rs. 1 crore respectively.

Season 11: Sanoj Raj, Babita Tade, Ajeet Kumar

Contestant Sanoj Raj was the first one to win Rs 1 crore on KBC 11 and he aspired to become an IAS officer. Female contestant Babita Tade also won a crore. She prepared 'khichdi' for school kids and earned Rs 1500 monthly, which left Big B shocked. Another contestant, Ajeet Kumar from Bihar also won a crore and impressed the host with his swift game. He used only two lifelines - audience poll and flip the question - until he reached the top. Ajeet is a jail superintendent. He previously worked with Indian Railways as a station master for over 16 years.

Season 10: Binita Jain

Binita Jain won the tenth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and later joined a coaching centre in Guwahati. She wanted to give her son a better life with the winning amount.

Season 9: Anamika Majumdar

Anamika Majumdar was a social worker, who was associated with an NGO. The contestant used the winning amount - a crore for the progression of that NGO.

Season 8: Achin Narula and Sarthak Narula

Delhi-based brothers Achin Narula and Sarthak Narula won the jackpot prize of Rs. 7 crore and used the amount for their mother's cancer treatment.

Season 7: Firoz Fatima and Taj Mohammad Rangrez

Firoz Fatima became the first crorepati of the seventh season, who had given up studies post her father's demise and she utilised the winning amount to stabilise her family's financial condition. Another contestant, Taj Mohammad Rangrez - a history teacher by profession, put his knowledge to use and won Rs 1 crore. He used the money to treat his daughter's impartial vision, funded two orphan girl's marriages and purchased a house.

Season 6: Sunmeet Kaur

Sunmeet Kaur won Rs. 1 crore and started her own fashion house with the prize money. She holds a degree in fashion designing and was deprived of pursuing a career in the field due to her in-laws.

Season 5: Sushil Kumar

Sushil Kumar's win in the fifth season is one of the most popular ones. A computer operator by profession from Bihar, he won Rs 5 crore but confessed it to be the darkest phase of his life. In a social media post, Sushil admitted that success went into his head, he was conned, almost divorced his wife and turned into an alcoholic.

Season 4: Rahat Taslim

Rahat Taslim participated in this quiz show in 2010 and made everyone proud by winning a crore. Rahat was preparing for her medical exam when she was married off and opened a garment mall with the winning amount.

Season 2: Brajesh Dubey

The third season of Kaun Banega Crorepati 3 did not find any winner. Brajesh Dubey, an engineer by profession, who hailed from Guna, won Rs 1 crore on the show.

Season 1: Harshwardhan Nawathe

Harshwardhan Nawathe became the first-ever crorepati of this quiz-based show, hosted by the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan. He was studying for his Civil Services exam when he got a call from KBC for an audition. After achieving this feat, he moved to the UK for further studies, and is currently associated with a multinational conglomerate company.
