Bigg Boss 19’s Tanya Mittal shares cryptic post about male ego after recent podcast with Gullu aka Kushal Tanwar; fans react
Bigg Boss 19 fame Tanya Mittal recently grabbed attention after sharing a series of cryptic posts on her Instagram Stories. Through her posts, Tanya spoke about male ego, public scrutiny, and the challenges successful women often face. Her statements quickly sparked conversations online, with many fans coming out in support of her.
In one of her Instagram Stories, Tanya wrote, “Happy to break male egos again. Jealous? I can imagine. Some men can handle a strong woman. Some can only handle talking about one. While they’re busy being uncomfortable with a woman who refuses to shrink herself, I’m busy building, winning, and collecting blessings. Stay pressed. Stay jealous. Stay watching. I’ll stay unforgettable.”
In another Instagram Story, Tanya appeared to address an unpleasant interview experience. Sharing her thoughts on handling disrespect, she wrote, “A question for all of you. If someone keeps making unnecessary jokes about you, calling you names, and repeatedly trying to provoke you during an interview, what would you do? Would you go down to their level? Or would you choose dignity?”
She further added, “I have always chosen silence over nonsense. That day, when I felt a line was being crossed, I simply decided not to engage. I answered in one word because I refused to reward disrespect with a reaction.” Explaining what happened next, Tanya wrote, “What surprised me was what happened next. The interview was stopped because apparently ‘Tanya isn’t answering.’ But I was answering. Just not in the dramatic way some people wanted.”
She also reflected on how some people seek reactions rather than meaningful conversations. Tanya wrote, “It made me realize that sometimes people are not looking for a conversation. They are looking for content. A reaction. A viral reel. If someone else is the star of your story, take their interview. But don’t expect me to participate in my own disrespect just so someone else gets engagement.”
Ending the note on a strong message, she added, “Silence is not weakness. Sometimes, it is the strongest way of saying, ‘This is not acceptable.’”
In yet another Instagram Story, Tanya spoke about the different ways society reacts to the success of men and women. She wrote, “When a boy wins, the world celebrates. ‘Hamara bhai jeet gaya.’ ‘Vote for my bhai.’ ‘Bhai is a legend.’ ‘Bhai ne history create kar di.’ People make fan clubs for him. His friends become his loudest cheerleaders. Boys want to be like him. Girls crush on him. His confidence is called attractive. His ambition is called inspiring. His lifestyle is called success. His cars are called goals. His house is called an achievement. His attitude is called leadership.”
She further added, “Nobody asks for proof. Nobody asks where the money came from. Nobody asks if the car is rented. Nobody asks if the house belongs to his father.”
Comparing it to the scrutiny faced by women, Tanya wrote, “But when a girl wins? The investigation starts before the congratulations. ‘Iske peeche kaun hai? Boyfriend kaun hai? Papa kya karte hain? Family influential hai kya? Husband support na karta toh kar paati? Itna paisa aata kahan se hai? Cars asli hain ya rented? Bodyguards kyun rakhti hai? Itni security ki kya zarurat hai? Itne branded kapde kaise afford karti hai? Itna travel kaun sponsor karta hai? Followers real hain? Views genuine hain? Yeh sab PR hai kya? Khud ki achievement hai ya connections? Yeh sach mein itni successful hai? Kuch toh gadbad hai.’”
She concluded the post by writing, “And my favourite ones, ‘Ghar iska hai?’ ‘Office iska hai?’ ‘Business iska hai?’ Because apparently a woman’s success can never simply belong to her. A successful man is admired. A successful woman is audited.”
Soon after Tanya shared the posts, fans flooded social media with reactions. While many praised her for speaking her mind and standing up against stereotypes, others discussed the points she raised about success, gender bias, and public perception.
