Celebrity MasterChef: From craving for her family to stay together to being the protective shield like a mother; Tejasswi Prakash breaks down in tears as she receives a heartfelt message from her brother Pratik

Celebrity MasterChef is nearing its finale. In a recent episode, the celebrity cooks were given an intriguing challenge: produce the finest potato accordion while adding a dash of their spice mix to the meal. Nikki, who had won the previous task, gained an advantage and was spared from creating the potato dish. As the tasting got over, Chef Vikas gave a special surprise for Tejasswi, that was her brother's video message all the way from USA.

Tejasswi's brother Pratik congratulates her, he jokes that he had taught her how to cook. Pratik revealed how proud he is of his sister and mentioned all the dishes that she has cooked in the MasterChef journey. He even wishes her luck and boosts her to win the trophy.

Tejasswi breaks down in tears as she sees the message. She shared, 'It has been more than a year I haven't met him. I miss him a lot. We have rarely had occasions where the whole family has been together. All our childhood, Papa was in Saudi so it was just mom and us. Then, as we grew up, Papa got retired and came back, but then Pra is now in the USA, so I really crave for our family to be together."

Farah says, 'You both look same. is he your twin brother or younger than you?' Tejasswi replied, 'No, he is a few years younger than me.' Chef Ranveer added, 'Nobody can say that he is younger than you, aap dono twins hi lagte ho.' Tejasswi added, 'People keep saying this but we never thought we looked so similar.'

Tejasswi shared, 'From kindergarten to Engineering, we were in the same schools and college. We barely have 2 years gap. So we even have the same friends group. As he was small, I had to grow up sooner and become his shield. He would always take my name for protection. I have to make him proud, aaj tak jo bhi kiya hai usi ke liye kiya hai. I am his mother and not his elder sister.'

As Tejasswi spoke about her brother, Chef Vikas got emotional as he missed his sister. Tejasswi shares, 'I want to tell you that I always felt that I am the lucky one to have a brother like Pratik, I want to tell you that your sister is also very lucky that she got a brother like you.'

Listening to the emotional moment, Chef Vikas promised Tejasswi that when he launched her Dosa Bomboloni, he would invite her brother to be the first one to taste her dish in his restaurant.
