Mahhi Vij has finally broken her silence over the ongoing divorce rumours with husband Jay Bhanushali. The actress shared a heartfelt message addressing media speculation and false reports circulating online on her personal vlog. Reacting to the divorce news, Mahhi said, “For the past 3-4 days, I have been getting a lot of messages in my news feed. A lot of people have come out with banners.” She revealed that she felt compelled to speak out before things “get dirty.” Emphasizing her disappointment, she added, “If you have proof, say it. I didn’t even want to talk about it, but I had to clear things up.”

Mahhi firmly reminded everyone to respect personal boundaries. “Until we are not saying anything, you do not have the right to interfere in our personal life,” she said. The actress explained how such news affects her family, especially her children. “My son showed me a news report of this. Imagine what’s going through them,” she shared, appealing for empathy and understanding.

Expressing concern for her kids’ mental health, Mahhi said, “Nowadays every child has a phone. It hampers their mental health.” She criticized irresponsible reporting, adding, “You just print for likes and comments. Don’t put false narratives.” Mahhi reiterated that her family, especially her kids, means everything to both her and Jay.

Clarifying the rumours about demanding Rs 5 crore alimony, Mahhi stated, “I don’t even understand what alimony is.” She explained, “I am talking as a woman. I think it is not our right. It is earned by him and it is his money. If someone wants to take care of you with love, then well and good. But it is permissible for women who are housewives. Women who have no work and have never gone to work, it is permissible for them. But you can work. I think you should get up, work and earn for yourself. Because when the paths separate, you should earn for yourself.”

Mahhi concluded with a heartfelt message, saying, “Please don’t believe any news till I say it myself. Respect our privacy and our children’s privacy.” She added, “Jay is my family and will always be my family.
