Dipika Kakar and her family celebrated Diwali in a heartwarming way, filled with love, food, and thoughtful gestures. In her latest Vlog, Dipika revealed how she has planned special gifts for her staff and house help, expressing her gratitude for their constant support. Dipika's mother prepared a lavish Diwali feast for her daughter’s in-laws and also showcased a spread of homemade delicacies.

Dipika decides to gift exclusive pieces from her own clothing brand to her staff and household help as a token of gratitude. She expressed that none of her achievements would have been possible without their support. Introducing Dharam Dada, she shared that he managed all the errands for her brand, acknowledging his dedication and noting that he has been by her side since her Sasural Simar Ka days.

Confusion over celebrating Diwali

Dipika then showcases the gifts and sweets she has prepared for her staff and household help. Later in the video, she shares her excitement about Diwali, mentioning the mix-up over whether to celebrate on October 31st or November 1st. She lets viewers know that her mother is hosting a Diwali feast and heads over to her mom’s place, conveniently located in the same building, to check out the preparations.

Dipika’s mother offers a preview of the delicious spread she prepared specifically for her daughter’s in-laws, including dishes like dahi vada, rajma-chawal, kheer, and chole. She also shares a look at the outfit she plans to wear for the Diwali gathering. Dipika, on her part, takes charge of preparing kheer and chole at her own place for the festive feast.

Dipika and her mom talk about Dawat

Dipika shares some lovely moments of Shoaib and their son Ruhaan bonding and having a fun time together. She also gives a glimpse of the beautiful Diwali decorations her mother set up at home. Dipika’s mom mentions that, while she’s feeling tired, she’s equally thrilled to host this special Dawat. Dipika adds that Shoaib is looking forward to the gathering, especially as it’s the first time such a grand Dawat is being held at his in-laws' home since their marriage. To fully enjoy the meal, Shoaib even skipped breakfast, and Dipika captures her mom busy cooking chole for the festive spread.

Meanwhile, Dipika gets ready for the Dawat and wears a bright yellow gharara for the special occasion from her brand. Dipika makes Shoaib click a few of her photos and also shows her mom wearing a glimmering blue Anarkali.

The entire Ibrahim family reaches her mom’s place for the Dawat. The entire family sits together and enjoys the food. In the video, Shoaib’s sister is also seen wearing Dipika’s brand. Everyone praises the food and reveals how much fun they had at Dipika’s mom’s house.

Shoaib's excitement for Diwali Dawat

Shoaib also shared moments of Diwali Dawat in his Vlog. The actor revealed how his close friends ditched him and did not inform about Diwali celebrations. His friends arrive home to give their wedding invites. Dipika and Shoaib decided to celebrate the festival on November 1st. They select a colourful traditional outfit for their son Ruhaan. Shoaib says, “Aisa lag raha hai Sasural mein pehli baar koi function hai aur main jaa raha hoon.”

Shoaib recalls enjoying chole puri at bhandaras

Everyone wished happy Diwali to each other and also exchanged gifts. Shoaib teases Dipika that he has come to his Sasural for the first time so there shouldn’t be any loophole. Shoaib praises the food and recalls the time when he enjoyed the food at Bhandara. He says, “Hum log kitna khate the Navratri mein Bank Colony mein.” His mom also adds that she would ask him to bring for them. Shoaib reveals he would go to Kanjak Punjan also and have food. Saba recalls how she was made to feel special during Navratri’s kanjak pujan.
