From hand-painted murals to a colourful kitchen; Inside The Great Indian Kapil Show fame Sunil Grover’s nature-inspired two-story house

Sunil Grover welcomed fans into his beautiful two-storey Mumbai home—an artistic sanctuary designed by his wife, Aarti Grover. The house isn't just luxurious; it's rooted in emotion, artistry, and simplicity. Featuring hand-painted walls, panoramic views, Moroccan tiles, quirky artefacts, and carved details, every corner reflects the comedian’s journey, humour, and grounded spirit. Here's a stylish tour of the home that blends aesthetic minimalism with personal warmth shown on a digital platform.

Hand-Painted Walls That Tell a Story

Sunil Grover’s house features stunning hand-painted murals—one spanning two floors with a floral design and another of a tree in the living room. “There’s a plant here, but you don’t need to water it,” he jokes. These unique art pieces, created by talented artists, bring life, warmth, and a playful twist to the home, blending creativity with nature in the most delightful way.

3/9

Balcony With a View of Dreams

The living room opens to a balcony offering a panoramic view of Mumbai’s skyline. Sunil emotionally shares that from here, he can spot every house he once lived in—like flipping through a photo album of his journey. “I like to sit here; you feel like a king sometimes,” he says, soaking in the success and serenity of a life built from humble beginnings.

4/9

Colourful Kitchen With a Fun Twist

Designed with vibrant Moroccan tiles and 360-degree rotating windows, Sunil’s kitchen is cheerful and full of character. The windows offer skyline views, but Sunil’s favourite part? Spinning them! “I love to cook, but others don’t love to eat what I make,” he jokes. The space perfectly reflects the home’s balance of quirky charm, functionality, and the couple’s eye for unique, playful design.

From One-Room Flat to Dream Home

Sunil opens up about his journey—from a small one-room rented apartment to owning a beautiful two-storey home. “I was equally happy back then,” he reflects. For him, happiness isn’t defined by square footage but by gratitude and love. His story is a reminder that fulfilment doesn’t always come with luxury—it comes from living with purpose and joy, no matter the space.

6/9

A Creative Corner for Reflection

Sunil’s favourite corner is his mini-library filled with books and old scripts. It’s a peaceful nook where creativity flows. He wittily shares, “If a script makes your soul scratch, don’t do it—but I’ve done some anyway.” This corner isn’t just for reading—it’s where ideas are born, stories are reviewed, and passion is revisited. A quiet space that truly reflects the artist within.

7/9

Upper Floor With Artistic Soul

The upper floor of Sunil’s home features carved wooden doors crafted by wife Aarti, adding elegance and warmth. A fun blackboard wall with golden frames invites creativity—perfect for scribbles, notes, or drawings. It’s a beautiful mix of refined design and childlike spontaneity, making the upper floor not just functional but an engaging space where personality and style come together effortlessly.

8/9

Artefacts, Music, and Meaningful Memories

The house is full of eclectic and meaningful elements—a piano, quirky magnets including one of The Kapil Sharma Show team, and a soundproof TV room. Every corner reflects Sunil’s journey, blending humour, music, and nostalgia. As he beautifully puts it, “Happiness isn’t in carpet area or bedrooms—it’s in the people you live with.” His home truly radiates love, laughter, and lived-in joy.

9/9

Fulfilling his dreams

“I started with 1 room kitchen apartment. It was a rented apartment and I was equally happy. After 2-3 years, I added another bedroom, and the bedrooms increased. It doesn’t matter how many bedrooms or carpet area you have. You should be happy. I was equally happy when I was living in a rented apartment. To have a home in Mumbai is in itself not an easy thing,” shared Sunil.
