From Paras Kalnawat to Anagha Bhosle: TV celebs who quit hit TV show Anupamaa

Anupmaa is one of the most popular TV shows on Hindi GEC. The show has been successfully maintaining its top position on the TRP charts. TV actor Sagar Parekh, who plays the role of Samar in the TV show is rumoured to be quitting the show. The channel released a promo, where Samar is seen having met with an accident and Vanraj blaming Anuj for his death and that has created the speculation of his exit. However, there’s no confirmation about it yet.

Anagha played the role of Samar’s girlfriend in the TV show. She was known and loved for her chemistry and cute ‘nok-jhok’ with Samar. However, the actress left the show midway to follow her spiritual path. Netizens were quite surprised with her decision to make an exit from the popular show.

Paras Kalnawat, who is currently playing the role of Rajveer in Kundali Bhagya, is another TV celeb who left the popular show Anupamaa. He played the role of Samar before getting replaced by Sagar Parekh. After making an exit from the show, he participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. After a lot of speculation and rumours, Paras revealed how many Anupamaa actors want to quit the show but not everyone can take that risk. He added, "Honestly speaking, 80% of the cast would want to exit if given an opportunity. Risk lene ki aur sahi ke liye ladne ki takat har kisi mein nahi hoti."

Aneri, loved for her role of Malvika Kapadia (Anuj’s sister), also made an exit from the show midway. In an interview, the actress had revealed that she felt her character was getting sidelined and the plot was more focused on Anupamaa and Anuj. The actress later participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and impressed fans with her reality show journey.

Apoorva, was seen playing the role of Anupamaa’s doctor. He helped her fight cancer and heal from the trauma of that. That’s not all, he also helped Vanraj with his depression and more. However, he later left the show midway.

TV actress Tassnim Sheikh played the role of Rakhi, Kinjal’s mom in Anupamaa. She was known for her fierce acting in the TV show. However, she later went missing after the arrival of Kinjal’s baby.

Actress Jaswir was seen playing the role of Devika Mehta, Anupamaa’s best friend. Their bond was much loved and appreciated by the audience. She even helped Anupmaa solve many of her problems. But the actress left the show midway. The reason for her exit is not known.

She portrayed Barkha’a daughter ‘Sara’ in the TV show. However, her character didn’t receive much limelight and hence she decided to leave the show midway. The actress was also seen on TV show Dhadkan Zindagi Kii.

Ekta Saraiya, the actress who portrayed the role of Vanraj's sister, Dolly has bid afieu to the show. In a recent interview, she confirmed her exit from Anupamaa, a show she had been a part of for approximately three years.
