Shilpa Shinde recently made headlines after she got evicted from stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. The actress and reality show star even got into an argument with fellow stars Ashish Mehrotra, Abhishek Kumar and others. Over the years, Shilpa has courted controversies several times. Shilpa Shinde became the first contestant to be evicted from Khatron Ke Khiladi. The actress and reality show star made headlines for another reason this weekend and that was her disagreements with fellow contestants. Shilpa had asked the contestants including Ashish and Abhishek to let her perform the task before the other contestants as she’s a ‘senior.’ She further mentioned how the new stars should work harder as it’s ’their time to struggle’ while the senior actors to ‘get preference.’ Ashish didn’t quite like that and mentioned how everyone has ‘worked hard to be where they are.’ In an exclusive interview, Ashish said "Yes, Shilpa Shinde and I had disagreements on two or three occasions, and it showed clearly. I have strong opinions, and when I believe something is right or wrong, I don't waver; I point out what's right and what's wrong. I'm the same on and off camera. I speak directly, no nonsense, and I don't sugarcoat my thoughts. While we are on the same platform, I respect that Shilpa is my senior and has extensive industry experience, but when it comes to choosing between right and wrong, I don't consider age or status—I choose what's correct.”

Shilpa Shinde also accused the makers of "Gangs of Filmistan" of dishonesty. She claimed that she had clearly stated her unwillingness to work with Sunil Grover and was assured she wouldn’t have to, yet he was prominently featured on the show. In an interview with ETimes TV, Shilpa said, "When he is around, you can't do anything. He takes over the entire act. We are never given scripts, our gags get destroyed, and we don't get to perform at all. I am not making a comeback to stand behind in the crowd and clap."

Shilpa Shinde, who was set to marry Romit Raj in 2009, ended their engagement, accusing him of being 'too calculative and dominating.' In a recent interview with BT, Shilpa reflected on that period, saying, "Romit and I were engaged a long time ago, and I was very young at that point. I didn’t want to settle down at that time, but everyone around me felt it was the right age to get married. Subsequently, things didn’t work out between Romit and me, and the relationship fell apart. After my engagement broke off, I did get into another relationship, but that was a very bad experience. Maine apne kaan pakad liye that I would steer away from relationships. I’ve realized that I am happy being single. I can’t be answerable to anyone. When I am working, and if someone asks me where I am going or what I am doing, I can’t keep answering him."

Shilpa Shinde grabbed attention during her stint on Bigg Boss 11 due to her heated clashes with Vikas Gupta, whom she blamed for her dismissal from "Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai." Shilpa openly accused Vikas of orchestrating her exit and went further, alleging that he had created an MMS featuring a Hindi adult film actress resembling her without makeup. Vikas retaliated by labeling her as 'psycho.' Their daily confrontations in the Bigg Boss house became a regular occurrence, yet over time, they managed to reconcile and establish a cordial relationship.

Shilpa Shinde sparked controversy in 2016 when she abruptly quit "Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai" on a contentious note. The actress, known for her role as Angoori Bhabhi in the sitcom, made some serious accusations. The fallout between Shilpa and the producers unfolded publicly, with mutual accusations being exchanged.

Shilpa Shinde not only faced issues with the producers of "Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai" but also lacked the support she expected from the Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA). Despite filing a defamation case against the show's producers, the case did not yield any results. Shilpa accused CINTAA members of acting like a 'mafia,' claiming they destroyed actors' careers.

Shilpa Shinde quit "Gangs of Filmistan" before the show even aired due to a significant fallout with its producers. She accused them of serious misconduct. In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, Shilpa revealed the grueling work schedule, stating, "We have been shooting from seven in the morning to eleven at night. I don't know where these association people are. Why don't they notice this? How artists are being exploited. They are always there to sabotage someone's image but when we are working for 12 hours and more, nobody is raising a question. We were told that we will shoot for the show only twice a week, but we are shooting every day."

Accusing her ex-boyfriend of aggressive behavior, during Sidharth Shukla's participation in Bigg Boss 13, Shilpa reportedly told an entertainment portal about their past relationship. She stated, "Sidharth is the channel's favorite, and that's undeniable. They ensured he won Khatron Ke Khiladi, despite his eviction thrice from the show. They can go to any lengths for their favored individuals. Sidharth's infamous temper and conduct issues on all his shows are widely known."
