‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ January 31 written update: Ranvijay gets custody, and Gautam takes his revenge

The episode starts with the whole Virani family at the court for Pari and Ranvijay's divorce case. Hemant presents proof in court and argues that the two cannot live together anymore and need a divorce as soon as possible. Gautam also agrees to this; however, he also states that the family should pay Ranvijay so that he is not left with financial struggles after the divorce. Mihir fully agrees and says he is ready to pay anything as long as his daughter is free.

The next topic that they start discussing in court is about Garima. Gautam insists that the daughter's custody be granted to Ranvijay as he will be able to properly take care of her. Pari, however, counters this and says that he does not love her the same way she does, and he will not be able to take care of her properly.

The judge states his ruling

After hearing all of the sides, the judge states that we will take a recess and will come back with the final verdict. Meanwhile, Pari and Tulsi talk about the matter at hand. Pari mentions how and why Ranvijay is doing all of this to them, and how he gets to demand Garima's custody.

The judge comes back and cites that a child needs both parents in their lives; however, he presents that the case is stronger for Ranvijay's side. He announces that Ranvijay will get Garima's custody, and that the Viranis will have to pay him half of their shares in order to compensate him for the divorce.

Pari falls apart in court as Gautam and Ranvijay celebrate their win.

Tulsi confronts Gautam

As the court starts packing up, Tulsi approaches her son and asks him what he has done. She mentions that Ranvijay is a cheater and an abuser, yet Gautam still sided with him through everything.

Gautam tells her to stop with her discrimination and recalls how she would differentiate between her own children. Tulsi says that all of her kids are equal to her and that she loves all of them. However, Gautam refuses to hear anything from her. He tells her that they need to stop doing all of this and that she needs to let him go. Ranvijay interrupts them to taunt Tulsi; however, Gautam pulls him away. In the back, Noina is seen celebrating the case verdict as it means that Tulsi will stay distracted from the saree order.

Noina and Gautam meet

Gautam and Ranvijay leave the court as Gautam has a flight back to the US. Ranvijay drops him at the airport and thanks him for hurting the Viranis. Gautam tells him that he did everything for himself and that Ranvijay should start thinking about what he will do with the shares that Mihir will transfer to him. They reach the airport, but Noina comes and interrupts them before Gautam can go inside. She thanks him for winning the case and for hurting Tulsi. Gautam tells her that he did not do anything for her, and that he supports her for whatever bad things that she is doing to the family.

Meanwhile, Tulsi and Shobha still have not been able to grasp what Gautam did to them.
