Mahhi Vij is overjoyed as her cousin brother Shekhar Malhotra has tied the knot with Nimki Mukhiya actress Bhumika Gurung today (March 8). The couple had an Anand Karaj ceremony at a Gurdwara in Mumbai.

For her special day, Bhumika wore a dusty golden lehenga embroidered with delicate work. She sported contrasting jewellery in green and gold, and made for a beautiful bride. Shekhar looked handsome in a floral sherwani with a green stole and turban.

An ecstatic Mahhi Vij wore a multi-coloured suit with tasseled dupatta for her brother's wedding. She smiled and posed after the Anand Karaj ceremony. The actress had earlier expressed her happiness over her cousin brother's wedding with Bhumika.

Bhumika and Shekhar record their marriage details post the lawan pheras. The two were surrounded by their near and dear ones.

Bhumika is seen with her bridesmaids performing the kaleera ceremony. It's got everyone laughing and chatting, and having a good time.

Bhumika and Shekhar had haldi, mehendi and sangeet on March 6 and 7. The couple went all sunny and yellow at their haldi ceremony and chose to go green for their mehendi function at home.

Speaking exclusively to ETimes TV, Bhumika shared that she is happy to be surrounded by her friends and family on the most special days of her life. She said she was excited and also exhausted with the hustle-bustle of the wedding. The couple will host a party today for their friends and family.
