Mishal Raheja: There’s no plan right now to come back to TV

Actor Mishal Raheja, known for shows like Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Mano Ya Na Mano 2, Ishq Ka Rang Safed and Kumkum Bhagya, is set to return to acting after a brief break. The actor was last seen in the web series Mumbai Diaries 26/11, released in 2021.

Talking about his time away from screens, Mishal said, “After doing TV for years, I wanted to explore new opportunities. I took a break after Mumbai Diaries 26/11. Post that, I focused on my business, travelled and also joined politics. I’m enjoying my life, and I have no regrets.”


The actor revealed that the offer for his comeback came unexpectedly. “I recently got a call for shooting a vertical story. The concept, production and cast excited me. I said yes and decided to return with Chaalbaaz,” he shared.

He also admitted he initially declined the project. “I refused at first because of my business commitments, but the team insisted. It was a quick 8–9 day shoot, so I decided to revisit the set life.”

On returning to television, Mishal concluded, “There’s no plan right now to come back to TV or do reality shows. I’m happy staying busy. Films or OTT—if it happens, it happens. I don’t plan anymore.”
