New mom Rubina Dilaik shares the joy of being blessed with Edhaa and Jeeva, says "They are non-identical twins, with different personalities"

Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla were recently blessed with their twin baby girls. The actress took to her Instagram handle to celebrate 1 month of their little girls and shared pictures of their religious ceremonies. The Shakti actress also revealed that she named her daughters Edhaa and Jeeva. Now, in her recent vlog, Rubina gave details about her daughters, the meaning of their names, her delivery and more.

Rubina shared, "My life has changed completely after becoming a mother, my heart is filled with gratitude for all those lovely messages, wishes, blessings and support. I even wanted to thank everyone for being so supportive of my show. I was shooting till the last day before going to the hospital. I remember I was shooting in the afternoon and in the evening I was at the hospital in labour."

While talking to her fans, she shared the exact date when her little angels were born, "A lot of people asked me the exact date, our baby girls were born on 27th November. It was an auspicious day, it was Gurupurab and Dev Diwali. We are absolutely blessed that these two beautiful souls chose us as their parents."

Rubina shared that Abhinav and her parents are home to take care of them, "At home, Mom, Dad and Abhinav's parents are also there to take care of us and constantly help us. I feel so blessed and grateful, my mother has been such a strong pillar, she has been extremely supportive, she used to joke 'jab tum maa banogi tab tumhe ahemiyat pata chalegi', now that I am a mother I am realising the depth of that. Even Abhinav's mom is so supportive, I just cannot thank these two mothers for their love and support."

Rubina shared, "You all have been asking the meaning of Edhaa and Jeeva, so Edhaa means prosperity and Jeeva means lifeline. These are names of goddesses and they originate from Sanskrit. As soon as they were born we decided that the elder one would be Edhaa and the younger one would be Jeeva."

Rubina further shared, "Abhinav and I had already decided 4 names already as we knew we were having twins so two names for boys and girls. Abhinav and I wanted names that have a connection that can be felt. For me, the name should have a meaning that was very important so that is how we had decided on these two names."

Rubina opened up about her baby girls, she said, "They are both non-identical twins and their personalities are very different. Their faces look completely different. There is a lot that I want to share but for now, I would ask please keep praying for our daughters so that they stay protected. Abhinav and I always strive that their health stays good and the environment stays positive at home."

Rubina shares about her postpartum health, she said, "I have been experiencing brain fog, I keep forgetting things all the time. If I make the coffee, I'll forget to pour it in the mug and if I completely forget about the coffee then I wouldn't even know I made it. There are many such episodes that have happened. I am rediscovering myself and taking baby steps with this new life. Its absolutely a new life, new experience."
