Saachi Tiwari on sharing screen with her mother says, 'It’s a dream come true moment'
Actor Saachi Tiwari, known for Prem Leela and Kaisa Hai Yeh Rishta Anjaana, is stepping into the digital space with a project that holds deep personal significance. The series marks not only her digital debut but also the acting debut of her mother, Priya Tiwari, who plays her on-screen mother.
Calling it a special milestone, Saachi says, “It’s a big break, and making a debut with such a great story feels amazing. My character Chandni is bold, kind, and a sweetheart. She loves her family, is smart, and has just returned from abroad, so she’s enjoying village life. Playing a character like Chandni was always on my bucket list, so I’m glad I could finally tick it off.”
What makes the project even more meaningful is sharing screen space with her mother. “It’s a dream come true moment. I always wished to work with her and see her on screen with me. I manifested it so much, and finally it’s happening,” she shares.
Saachi also emphasizes that she does not want to restrict herself to any one medium. “These days, no platform is small. Every platform offers opportunities to grow as an actor. I’m open to TV if something interesting comes along, and I want to explore different spaces and connect with new audiences.”
Reflecting on the difference between television and web projects, she adds, “On web, we do a lot of workshops and rehearsals, and the shoot environment is less chaotic. TV, on the other hand, can be hectic due to tight schedules, but it has taught me a lot. Because of TV, shooting for web feels easier now.”
