Anupam’s wife Anchal Kumar is a model-actress, who was once a part of Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss. She was a contestant of Bigg Boss 4, which was won by Shweta Tiwari. It was also the first season of the show hosted by Salman Khan. Anchal had a journey of six weeks in the show and got evicted after being a part of it for around 40 days.

Anchal started her journey in the modelling world after she won the Gladrags Mega Model Contest in 1999. Post which, she featured in advertisements of some popular brands too. Gradually she stepped into the world of acting and took up a few music video projects. Anchal featured in Jagjit Singh's 'Aaina', Hans Raj Hans's 'Mukhra Tumahra', and Surjit Bindrakhia's 'Dupatta Tera Satrang Da'. Later, she also appeared in cameo roles in Priyanka Chopra starrer movie Fashion and Bluffmaster!.

Their wedding was a grand and gala affair that was attended by friends and family. It is known to be one of the most talked-about weddings of 2013. Apart from Shabbir Ahluwalia and Manish Malhotra, Mugdha Godse, Manoj Tiwari, Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh were also on the guest list.

Anchal and Anupam welcomed a baby girl into their lives a few years after their wedding. The couple has named her Alyssa Mittal. They are quite active on social media and keep sharing some stunning photos from their vacations, festivals and all times together.
