TKSS: Alaya F says she doesn't take advice from mom Pooja Bedi, latter jokes "That's why she is successful, talent in our family skipped one generation"

In the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil invites the evergreen, ever-shining Bedis, Kabir Bedi, Pooja Bedi and Alaya F. Kapil admires Pooja Bedi for maintaining her figure, she says, "Often people tell me that my daughter is so hot, I am hot, my father is so hot. I feel that our family is the reason behind global warming for such great looks."

I never faced casting couch, the industry was afraid of my father: Pooja Bedi

Boys were scared of my father, they used to wonder if he was a man or a mountain. Dad looked all tall, so when I entered the industry everybody told me there is casting couch and I must be cautious but the industry was so scared looking at my father and his personality so nobody approached me in that manner. It has been a wonderful journey and life. My fiance is also here, he is surely enjoying this conversation.

I am still friends with Alaya's father: Pooja Bedi

Kapil further asked, "Did you ever share about your boyfriend with your father or was he too busy with his girlfriend?" Pooja revealed, "Sharing is caring, we have always shared everything with each other about ourselves. It is an open family and our parents' value systems have been that "If someone has been a part of our family or life in some manner, we don't disrespect them when they leave." We keep the friendships and equations. Alaya's father is still a good friend and we meet and have dinners together. Our family keeps getting bigger."

I can proudly say that I have been friends with all my ex-wives: Kabir Bedi

Kabir Bedi further added, "There are such situations in life where people change, emotions change and the journey doesn't complete together. So after that parting becomes important and it is always painful. But after that if you can have a bond of friendship, nothing is better than that. I can proudly say that after the separation I have been friends with all my ex-wives and had a cordial bond."

Talent skipped one generation in our family

Kapil asks Alaya whether she takes any advice from her mother while choosing films. Alaya said, "No, I only take advice from my team when it comes to my career." Pooja says, "That is why she is successful. I always feel that the talent in our family skipped one generation. My father and daughter are extremely talented. So, I always say that talent skipped one generation and that is mine."

Pooja wanted to come to India so she chose a film that didn't work as her debut

Kapil asks Pooja whether she took advice from her father, Kabir says, "Pooja was staying with us in US in those days and she got an offer from Jagmohan Mundhra, I asked her not to do the film and instead work on herself, pick a good banner and then enter the Industry. But she wanted to go back to India and this was her only chance so she grabbed it. The film didn't work but luckily after that, she bagged Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander."

I want to have your baby became a slogan in Europe: Kabir Bedi

My father is extremely famous in Italy and the women there would tell me "We love your father, I want to have his child." I used to be like, "You cannot tell these things to his child at least." Kabir then added, "I have garnered a lot of love and fame Internationally. Bollywood, Hollywood and Europe. My series Sandokan became extremely popular and in Spain a lady screamed looking at me, 'I want to have your baby' This became a slogan in Europe after that incident.

I wanted to become a filmmaker and not an actor: Kabir Bedi

I didn't want to become an actor, when I came to Mumbai I had come to become a filmmaker. My parents were intellectually and culturally very rich but not financially. After all the sacrifices, I got admission to the famous St Stephens College but didn't have money for it so I started working at All-India Radio to manage my expenses. I have realised the biggest wealth my father gave me is respect. Due to their freedom struggle, no taxi driver would take money from us as a token of respect.

I was the only one who took the Beatles interview in India

I was a huge fan of the Beatles when I got to know that they had come to Delhi. I decided that I will meet them and take their interview. They were residing in a hotel and I reached there. All the journalists were waiting in the lobby and in two hours I found the manager and told him. I am from the Government of India and the government has announced that today at 10 pm Beatles interview has to happen. The manager refused, and I knew that in the Philippines they already faced an issue so I kept emphasising the word Government and convinced him to let me take the Interview. I was with the Beatles in the hotel room.

After a week when I asked for a copy of the Interview, people at All India Radio couldn't find it. This broke my heart and I left the job and I came to Mumbai to become a filmmaker with Rs 700 that I had.

Being the first Indian doing James Bond film, there were slogans, 'Kabir Bedi Zindabad'

I had no clue about the series when I reached Italy and was walking down the stairs of the plane with Parveen Babi and there were 100s of paparazzi flashing cameras. I wondered which celebrity had boarded the flight with me and I turned behind. Parveen then said, "It is for you, smile and pose for them." Europe gave me a lot of stardom. Then I did a James Bond film and it was a huge deal for me. I was the first Indian actor who was cast in the James Bond film. I got the role of Sardaar and the shooting happened in India. While shooting with all those stalwarts around me, our people were screaming 'Kabir Bedi Zindabad', I felt I was in heaven.

From being a clash between Kabir Bedi and Sunil Dutt, Kurbaan became a Salman Khan starrer

The producer of Kurbaan had told me in the beginning that the film is a clash between Sunil Dutt and me. Then he wanted another guy for the songs so I suggested Salman Khan's name. They signed him and while making the film Salman's 4 films were hit. Our film added 14 songs and Salman became the hero and we were in the background.

Wonder whats so great about a serial womaniser and a flippant family. No offence to young Alaya, she is unfortunate to have such philanderers as her elder generation...By putting such people on high pedestal we are sending wrong signals to the society.... But lools like that was the objective or Bollywood... This Kapil Sharma show is famous just because of cheap slapstick comedy.... Frankly a third rate show promoting casual relations, open body shaming especially of ladies
