“When someone asks when I’ll settle down, I say I am settled,” she said firmly. For Sumona, it’s not about marriage but financial independence. “My mom always told me, whether I get married or not, I should have my own space—and I do. That’s true stability.”

Looking back, Sumona feels immense pride. “The amount I paid for this small home in Mumbai could buy a villa elsewhere. But this isn’t just property—it’s my achievement. A roof I earned.
