‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ February 22 written update: Do Abhira and Maira actually meet after 8 years?
The episode starts with Vidya, Manisha, and many others gathering in the main room in their home. Vidya and Manisha talk about what Armaan could possibly want from them. Madhav comments that something important must have come up, as other than that, Armaan would not have gathered everyone to talk. Armaan comes in and tells the family that Maira wants to talk to everyone. In a video call, everyone talks with Maira about everything and how the hostel has been for her.
Armaan wonders what happened and why the call got cut off so suddenly. Tanya suggests that the call time must have gotten over, to which Armaan expresses anger.
Mukti calls Abhira, and the two talk about hostel life. Abhira senses that Mukti may have been crying and asks her about the same. The principal calls Armaan and Abhira and lets them know that their daughters got into a physical fight. When Armaan talks about it at home, Kaveri gets shocked after hearing Mukti’s name. Abhira also gets angry about having to face Armaan again as she heads to the school.
The principal then tells Abhira about how Maira has a lot of childhood trauma and often acts out because of it. She then asks if Abhira wants to see Maira. At first, she agrees, but, then tells her no, remembering how Armaan asked her to stay away from them.
As she leaves the principal’s office, Maira spots her from the other end of the hallway, and the two see each other. Maira and Abhira run towards one another and hug.
Mukti and Maira fight yet again
At the hostel, Mukti feels that Maira is taking too long to talk to her family and disconnects the call.
