Adhila on her journey in Bigg Boss Malayalam: 'We are happy that we could initiate conversations on LGBTQ in families.'
Lesbian couple Adhila and Noora became a sensation in Kerala after their entry to Bigg Boss Malayalam 7. Not just with their game, but also with their love and togetherness, this duo has won hearts. Even after the show, the duo keeps spreading positivity, and this video is proof of it.
Both Adhila and Noora were seen as guests in a panel discussion on LGBTQIA+. During the discussion, Adhila was asked about her perspective on how the show had influenced society, and her answer gained applause.
"I don't think a show can change the society instantly. It will take time. Change doesn't happen overnight. Yes, there are changes among families and in friend groups. We are happy that we could initiate conversations on LGBTQ in families," Adhila said.
Soon after the talk is out, Adhila's clarity of thought is praised.
'Her clarity of words and the way she communicates things to the point is something that I have always admired about her,' reads a comment.
Adhila and Noora, the lesbian couple who fought a legal battle in Kerala, entered Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 as contestants. Though initially they joined the game as a duo, later they were declared to be two individual contestants. Though both of them left the show ahead of the finale, they managed to win a million hearts. Even after the show, they are seen to be very happy about the acceptance the Kerala audience has given to them.
Notably, the show also celebrated its togetherness. The episode in which host Mohanlal stood by them after a degrading comment from inmate Ved Lakshmi was well received by the Malayali community. Not just their games, but also their love moments were seen celebrated on social media platforms.
