Sahakutumb Sahaparivar actress Annapurna Vitthal files a complaint against the director and co-artists; alleges "I was age shamed and verbally abused"

Actress Annapurna Vitthal Bhairi who was playing the character of Surya's mother in the Marathi TV show Sahakutumb Sahaparivar recently filed a complaint against the show director and the co-artists for mentally torturing her and mocking her on the set. Annapurna shared a video on her youtube channel and spoke against her co-artists and director. Annapurna also broke down while sharing the incidents and blamed the show makers for allegedly ragging her.

Annapurna shared in the video that the director used to abuse her on the set. She said, "Director Bharat Gaikwad used to age shame me and abuse me verbally. When we went to shoot in Daman, the entire cast tortured me. They isolated me. 2 to 3 times actress Asawari Joshi called me to sit with her and eat with them, but the rest team did not allow me. They also did not let me work. I would inform my family about the incidents."

Annapurna shared an incident with her fans in the video and revealed, "One day I had shooting but I wasn't well. So I had to put effort into my expressions while performing the scene. I stopped suddenly in between the shots, and the director asked me-- why did you stop? who made you an actress? You don't know anything about acting. I will tell the channel to remove you from the show. I was shaken. I played the role of a mother in Sahakutumb Sahaparivar but the cast and makers disrespected me and did not treat me like a mother. They have caused me pain. They have made a mother cry. Bharat always harassed in front of the unit."

"One day, actress Kishori Ambiye was sitting on the chair with a cooler, and there was only one cooler on the set. I did not say anything and I sat on the other chair. Later, I started getting sweaty, and the makeup man came and started doing the touch-up. The director shouted at him by using abusive words and asked him not to do my makeup. That day I decided to file the case against them. He later came to me and requested me not to do so."

Annapurna has some shocking allegations against the lead actress Nandita Patkar. Annapurna said, "When veteran actress Ashalata Wabgaokar passed away due to COVID19, I got the message on social media, and I told the lead actress Nandita Patkar that Ashalata Ji had passed away. I had worked with Ashalata on several occasions, and she was a gem of a person. But Nandita Patkar said-- Oh My God, now I think the entire film city will be in heaven. It's shocking that such artists are talking this about people who are not even with us anymore."

Annapurna Vitthal later urged her fans to come and open up about the harassment they face on the set. She said, "I got so depressed with the environment and people that I became a patient of High blood pressure and depression. I request everyone that if you people any ragging and mocking by your colleagues, please open up about it.
