Bigg Boss Ultimate contestant Oviya: From being bullied by the other female housemates to an unexpected quit, a glance at her journey in BB house

Popular actress-model Oviya will be seen entering the BB house yet again. In Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1, she was one of the most popular contestants and enjoyed a huge support from fans. Now, Oviya is set to entertain the audience in Bigg Boss Ultimate.

When Oviya was irked by the captaincy of fellow housemate Snehan, she confronted him. While the discussion between Snehna and Oviya was heated, Kanja Karuppu tried interfering, to which Oviya said, "Neenga konjam shutup pannunga". This dialogue became viral on the internet, and meme creators worked around the clock to make it more iconic.

The problem began when Oviya, who was first appointed as cleaning team captain, told her teammates that there was no need to clean toilets every day. She said once in every two days would be fine. Namitha, Gayathri, and Raiza made a big issue out of it. They were against Oviya using the bathroom or having food in the house.

Namitha was seen leading the anti-Oviya campaign in the house. She personally told other housemates to stop talking to Oviya and isolate her completely.

When Namitha, Gayathri, and Raiza doubted that Julie was acting while she was suffering in pain, Oviya came to console her. Julie was seen telling Oviya that Gayathri and Namitha felt that she was acting. But when Gayathri confronted her, Julie twisted the facts and said that it was Oviya who said Namitha and Gayathri were saying that she was acting in pain and tried to confuse her.

Bigg Boss Tamil 1 fame Oviya - Arav had a very close relationship during their stint inside the BB house. Rumors were rife that Oviya was in love with Arav, but the latter didn’t respond to her. It became a major reason for Oviya to quit the show midway. Arav justified kissing Oviya by saying that it was to calm her down. This mischievous confession by Arav raised many eyebrows, and the host, Kamal Haasan, said that he hadn’t heard of anything called 'medicinal kiss' ever.

Following her differences with Arav, Oviya had frequent fights with him and jumped into the pool in an attempt to end her life. Finally, she exited the show, citing medical grounds as the reason.
