COVID-19 crisis: Police arrest grocers for selling essential commodities at inflated rate in Varanasi

Police in Varanasi's Chetganj area detained trader leaders for staging a protest against the arrest of 9 grocery shop owners. Police caught them selling essential commodities at inflated rates during the lockdown. Police had received several complains regarding this. Arrests made during a reality check by the DM and SSP. There are constant inspections to check price inflation, black marketing and hoardings.
