Doctors gather to protest against attack on Kolkata junior doctors

Doctors of King Edward Medical College (KEM), Mumbai on Friday gathered to protest against attack on junior doctors in Kolkata. The resident doctors across Maharashtra will not work till 5pm on June 14. Two junior doctors were attacked by a patient's kin at NRS Medical College in Kolkata on June 11. since, the doctors went on strike demanding security. They got support from across the country and received the support of several medical associations. The West Bengal government has urged the doctors to call off their strike.
