'No Free Passage’: Global Oil Crisis Loading? Iran Sets Stringent Terms After US Seizes Iranian Ship

Iran has drawn a red line on the Strait of Hormuz after the U.S. military seized an Iranian-flagged vessel near the critical waterway. Iran's vice president Mohammad Reza Aref in a terse message said, "You cannot restrict Iran's oil exports and expect free security for others." The United States said it forcibly seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship that tried to pass its naval blockade in the northern Arabian sea near the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday, the first such interception since the blockade of Iranian ports began last week.
