Defence minister Rajnath Singh, marking the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, issued a strong veiled warning during an event with the Indian diaspora in Germany. Without naming Pakistan directly, he said India’s armed forces are now more capable than before, referring to “Operation Sindoor” to underline the country’s strengthened military response. He stressed that India has never launched aggression against any nation, but cautioned that any attempt to create trouble would be met with a firm response, indicated by his “dot, dot, dot” remark. Singh also said that while India shares good relations with most neighbours, only one continues to cause concern.
