Mamata Questions Poll Credibility, Asks Cadre to Guard EVMs Ahead of Counting

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has dismissed exit poll predictions, asserting that the Trinamool Congress will return to power with more than 226 seats. In a video message, she questioned the neutrality of pollsters and accused them of bias. Banerjee also issued strict instructions to party workers, urging them to guard EVMs round the clock and remain present at counting centres until final results are declared. She raised concerns over possible discrepancies during counting and thanked voters for record turnout. Her strong remarks have intensified the political atmosphere ahead of the May 4 results. Watch
