Mumbai: Iranian sweet shop in Bhendi Bazar opens for a few weeks during Navroz every year

An Iranian sweet shop in Mumbai’s Bhendi Bazar opens for a few weeks each year, only for the Iranian New Year festival of Navroz. Navroz falls on March 21 this year. The sweet sells ‘authentic’ baklava, sherbets, louiz pista, saffron, dry fruit and similar delicacies imported from Iran.
