Twitter Faceoff: Netizens divided after Zomato executive files FIR against Hitesha

NEW DELHI. Bengaluru Police on Monday booked a case against 31-year-old beauty influencer Hitesha Chandranee after a counter-complaint was filed against her by Zomato delivery executive Kamaraj.

Hitesha had earlier filed a complaint against Kamaraj claiming that she was assaulted by the delivery executive after she tried to cancel her food order because it arrived 59 minutes late.She suffered a nasal bone fracture as a result of the assault.

Kamaraj later countered Hitesha’s allegation, stating she abused him in filthy language and hurled slippers at him.
Twitter was abuzz with reactions after Kamaraj filed a FIR against Hitesha. While a section of social media supported his actions, others questioned the veracity of counter-allegations leveled against the woman.
