Ukraine fires Storm Shadow missiles, drones at Russia; Black Sea port terminal in Tuapse on fire
Ukraine launched fresh strikes on Russia early Wednesday using Storm Shadow missiles and drones, while a fire broke out at a Black Sea port terminal in Tuapse.Meanwhile, Russia said it intercepted a missile over the city of Taganrog during an aerial attack on the Rostov region, according to local officials cited by TASS news agency.
Rostov region governor Yury Slyusar said air defence systems destroyed the missile while repelling the attack. Falling debris reportedly sparked fires in several cars in the city.Rostov Mayor Svetlana Kambulova said two people were injured in the incident and were taken to hospital. “This morning, a missile was destroyed as an aerial attack on the Rostov Region was repelled. Unfortunately, two people were injured in the attack. They have been taken to hospital,” she wrote on her Max channel.According to Slyusar, both injured were women, with one said to be in serious condition.
