From Byjus to Apple: Here's the list of founders fired from their own companies

The majority of Byju's shareholders voted unanimously for removing founder CEO Byju Raveendran and his family from the board over alleged "mismanagement and failures" but the company rejected the resolutions and called it "invalid and ineffective." After Walmart acquired Flipkart, both the founders, first Sachin Bansal departed from the board in 2018 following a dispute with investors and later Binny Bansal officially resigned from the board of the e-commerce giant this year. (File Image)

Rob Kalin, a co-founder of Etsy, left his role as CEO of the company twice: once in 2008 and again in 2011. In 2005, the online marketplace was founded at Kalin's apartment in Brooklyn, New York.
