Police hunt man after woman targeted in upskirting incident at busy King’s Cross station
A woman was allegedly upskirted on escalators at a major UK train station during peak hours, with police releasing CCTV images as part of an ongoing investigation.
The incident took place at King’s Cross St Pancras Underground station in north London, where the victim was reportedly targeted while travelling on an escalator.
British Transport Police said the woman was approached from behind by a man while on the escalator, where he is alleged to have carried out the offence.
Another passenger intervened and confronted the man, who then apologised before fleeing the scene.
British Transport Police was quoted as saying by The Sun that the victim had been targeted while standing on the escalator, adding that a member of the public challenged the suspect before he left the area.
Authorities have urged anyone who recognises the individual or has information about the incident to come forward.
The case has raised concerns around passenger safety in crowded public transport spaces, particularly during busy commuting hours.
No arrests have been confirmed at this stage.
