Call it good bad or ugly, 2025 was the year of Donald the enfant terrible, aka Disruptor-in-Chief as he set out to dismantle the established world order from day one of his imperial presidency.




Picking up his big black executive pen on the first day of his second coming, POTUS 47 signed 225 fiats in 2025, five more than 45 signed in the whole of his first term, with a record 143 orders in the first 100 days alone to shape the world in his own image.

With an immigration crackdown, he drove illegal crossings at the border to record lows, hacked the federal work force, reversed diversity initiatives, rolled back environmental regulations and upended global trade by imposing punitive unilateral tariffs without a care for the ensuing chaos.

The self-styled ‘President of peace’ also claims to have stopped eight wars, including one between nuclear powered India and Pakistan that his pal Modi obstinately refuses to acknowledge.

He also helped bring about an uneasy ceasefire in Gaza that did bring him yet another peace prize, not the blasted Nobel that he covets so much, but one from Israel, which broke tradition to honor a non-Israeli for Trump’s “tremendous contributions to Israel and the Jewish people.”

Trump also demolished the historic East Wing of the White House to make way for a ‘big beautiful ballroom’ and attached his name to federal buildings from the US Institute of Peace to the Kennedy Centre for Performing Arts.

Trump also plans to build an Arc de Triomphe-style monument — nicknamed the “Arc de Trump” — in Washington to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary in 2026 with construction set to begin “sometime in the next two months,” with or without approval from the National Capital Planning Commission.

“It hasn’t started yet. It starts sometime in the next two months. It’ll be great. Everyone loves it,” Trump told Politico. “They love the ballroom too. But they love the Triumphal Arch,” which resembles Paris’ historic monument.

In thus remaking America as leader of the brand, “Trump is walking a path paved by conquerors and autocrats,” suggested the New York Times noting how he had made himself ‘ubiquitous’ in a year achieving an ‘omnipresence’ in public attention.

“His actions and opinions, from policy to pop culture, generate viral content,” noted the Times in a review of the first 329 days of Trump, Trump, Trump ad nauseam.

A staggering over 250 media appearances, 320 official events, and and more than 5,000 Truth Social posts or reposts, it counted ensured him “constant visibility, making him a ubiquitous figure in national discourse.”

“One pattern in Trump’s behavior: When his administration is faced with bad news, he launches a fusillade of distraction,” said the Times noting how the president embarked “on a breathtaking series of tangents” with the return of Jeffrey Epstein files to the news amid speculation that Trump might appear in them.

With the release of the latest tranche of “1,000,000 more pages on Epstein,” Trump complained, “DOJ is being forced to spend all of its time on this Democrat inspired Hoax” and “Just another Witch Hunt!!!”

“When do they say NO MORE, and work on Election Fraud etc,” he asked. Asserting, “The Dems are the ones who worked with Epstein, not the Republicans,” he demanded, “Release all of their names, embarrass them, and get back to helping our Country!”

Calling Trump “the President who never grew up,” Politico likened him to a 12-year-old boy with his “fun trips, lots of screen time, playing with toys, reliable kids’ menus and cool gifts under the tree.”

“Making a mockery of the rule of law and wielding state power to reward friends and punish foes while eroding institutions,” it suggested, “he spends his days chasing entertainment, attention and renovation projects that reflect a presidency stuck in adolescence.”

But “For Better or Worse, 2025 will go down in the history books as one of the most consequential years in American history,” suggested Real Clear Politics with the prestigious Foreign policy predicting that “Trump will remain a towering figure in geopolitics” in 2026 too.

Trump “will continue to be influential in global conflicts, trade, and immigration,” it said, while at home, he “will look to stave off his domestic opponents as they coalesce around a political platform based on affordability.”

Not satisfied with an approval rating at above 50% in a a new poll, Trump was quick to complain, “The polls are rigged even more than the writers. The real number is 64%, and why not, our Country is “hotter” than ever before. Isn’t it nice to have a STRONG BORDER, No Inflation, a powerful Military, and great Economy???”

Amid reports that at 79, Trump, the oldest man to assume the presidency, is showing signs of aging in public and private, he rang out the old year with an assurance from “White House Doctors… that I am in ‘PERFECT HEALTH.’”

He had also “‘ACED’ (Meaning, was correct on 100% of the questions asked!), for the third straight time, my Cognitive Examination, something which no other President, or previous Vice President, was willing to take,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

“P.S., I strongly believe that anyone running for President, or Vice President, should be mandatorily forced to take a strong, meaningful, and proven Cognitive Examination,” he wrote asserting “Our great Country cannot be run by ‘STUPID’ or INCOMPETENT PEOPLE!”

And the White House released a “Just Getting Started ” video showing how Trump is preparing his team for 2026 like Maximus, a betrayed Roman general who becomes a gladiator to avenge the murders of his family and the emperor.

Grabbing the pivotal winter battle scene at the beginning of Ridley Scott and Universal‘s 2000 blockbuster Gladiator, the pastiche video of Russell Crowe’s Maximus Decimus Meridius morphs into Trump — promising another year of Trump shenanigans!
