With mere hours remaining in the election campaigns, both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris maintain busy schedules focused on key battleground states.

President Trump is scheduled to hold rallies in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. These states, considered crucial for securing victory, will see the President addressing supporters in a last-minute effort to garner votes.

With less than 48 hours to go in the US election and more than 77.6m votes already cast, new polling shows Kamala Harris leading among early voters in the country’s battleground states.


The Democratic candidate has an 8% lead among those who have already voted, while her opponent, Donald Trump, is ahead among those who say they are very likely to vote but have not yet done so.

Trump to end campaigning with rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan

The former president will spend another busy day on Monday crisscrossing several battleground states.
Trump will hold a rally in North Carolina in the morning before travelling to Pennsylvania for events in Reading, west of Philadelphia, and in Pittsburgh.
He will then end the day with a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he will seek to energise his base to get out and vote on November 5.

The Harris campaign says it mobilised 90,000 volunteers to do it.
Spokesman Ian Sams said in a social media post that the effort was “the Harris campaign’s GOTV [get out the vote] weekend” – just before Election Day on Tuesday.

The results on Election Day will come down to seven states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have visited them the most. Together, these states are likely to deliver the Electoral College votes needed for the winning candidate to get a majority of 270.
