French film festival begins

ahmedabad: a french film festival, organised by alliance francaise at the national school of design, took off on monday with the screening of christian vincent's la discrete (the discreet). the festival, to be on till saturday, will feature claude chabrol's l'enfer (the hell), beaumarchais by eduard molinaro, un air de famille (a family affair) till thursday.on friday, director patrice chereau's film ceux qui m'aiment prendront le train (those who love me will take the train), directed by cedric klapisch, will be screened. the film about the widow of an eminent jeweller, would be shown on the last day. the movie place vendome directed by nicole garcia shows the changes in moods and emotions of the lady after the death, till she discovers the passion in herself to take ahead her husband's business.
