Rekha Gupta prays at Tirumala, hails women quota bill
TIRUPATI: Delhi Chief minister Rekha Gupta offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the iconic Lord Balaji mandir at Tirumala on Wednesday. The Delhi CM took part in the Suprabatha Seva predawn Darshan and also offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara during the VIP break Darshan slot earlier today. Speaking to reporters after completing her Darshan, the Delhi CM hailed the 33% women reservation Bill as a historic moment for the country. “Lord Balaji who is hailed as Lakshmi Narayan has already shown the path to us leading by example which is evident from his name. Taking a cue from the almighty, when Bharat adopts the 33% women reservation bill, the country will further progress immensely”, Delhi CM noted. Rekha Gupta visited Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams AI powered integrated command control centre at Tirumala on Wednesday. TTD Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary explained to the Delhi CM that the Tirupati trust was the first Hindu temple trust in the world to adopt Artificial Intelligence solutions for effective crowd management solutions. He further explained about how the integrated command control centre has helped the TTD to reduce the waiting time for Darshan besides effectively enhancing operational capabilities. “TTD has emerged as a pioneer in temple management in the world and all major temples across the country should study and adopt some of the best practices in place at Tirumala so that they can be replicated across the country”, Delhi CM observed.
