Bengaluru vegetable vendor arrested for torching 10 bikes, 7 cycles
Bengaluru: A vegetable vendor and his two associates were arrested on charges of setting 10 parked motorbikes and seven cycles on fire on Kaliyamma Street, Ulsoor, on July 28.The vendor, identified as R Maksood Ahmed, 26, of KG Halli, sells vegetables on Bajar Street in Ulsoor. His two associates are N Ijar Pasha, 24, of Sampigehalli Road and Hamid Tabrez, 26, of Govindapura. Maksood was upset after he was assaulted by two men over a trivial issue. He decided to set the parked vehicles on fire, thinking it would send a strong message to locals about his revenge, police said.
