Bangalore: FilmFernsecFond, Bayern and GoToBavaria have organised a host of German classics starting from May 24, at Max Mueller Bhavan. The films to be screened will include classics from the silent era to the most innovative modern films till date. Among them are: Nowhere in Africa, winner of 2003 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language film will set the ball rolling at the festival.
Josef Von Sternberg's The Blue Angel, Wilhelm Thiele's Three Men and Lillian, Fritz Arno Wagner's M - A Town in Looking for a Murderer, Slatan Dudow's Who owns the World? and Detlef Sierck's La Habanera will be some of the major attractions at the festival.
