On Sunday evening, Durga allegedly hanged herself at home. The incident came to light when her husband returned home at night. After receiving information, police reached the spot, registered a case, and sent the body for post-mortem.
During the search of the room, no suicide note was found. Preliminary inquiry revealed that Durga got married around four years ago but had no children. Police also recovered medical prescriptions related to her treatment for infertility. Police said the exact reason behind the incident would be clear only after recording statements of family members.
