Man molests 9-yr-old niece, assaults brother when confronted

Bhopal: A man molested his 9-year-old niece while she was collecting clothes from the terrace at his house in the city on Tuesday.Acting on her mother’s complaint, Police registered a molestation case against the accused under sections of BNS and POCSO Act.Police said that the 9-year-old girl is a student of class 5. She resides on the ground floor of the house with family while her uncle’s family resides on the first floor of the house. The girl’s mother in her complaint alleged that on Tuesday night around 8pm, she had sent to collect clothes on the terrace. When the minor went there, the uncle molested her.The minor returned home and narrated the ordeal to her parents, cops said.
