BHUBANESWAR: A train with empty rake, being slowly moved for scheduled upkeep, came dangerously close to another stationary empty rake on the same track in the yard at Mancheswar, creating scare on Thursday. An East Coast railway statement said no death or injuries were reported, as both rakes were empty at the time. Railway officials and technical teams immediately reached the spot, secured the rolling stock and assessed the situation. The incident happened during a routine maintenance movement, Railway sources said. Authorities said there was no disruption to train services, with operations on the main line and passenger movement remaining unaffected.
