Chennai Margazhi music season: Kerala’s Koodiyattam to be performed in Mylapore

CHENNAI: Kalavaahini junior fellowship recipient Nepathya Sreehari Chakyar will present “Ganjendra Moksham”, a solo Koodiyattam performance, in Chennai during the Margazhi festival.
The performance will be held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Mylapore at 4.30pm on December 24. It is open to all and not ticketed.
Sreehari hails from a family of eminent Koodiyattam practitioners and is the grandson of Padmasree Moozhikkulam Kochukuttan Chakyar and the son of Margi Madhu Chakyar and Indu G.
Koodiyattam is a traditional performing art form in Kerala.
