Bharathiar University in Coimbatore invites PhD applications for July 2026 session
Coimbatore: Bharathiar University is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission to its Ph.D. programme (full-time/part-time – regular stream) for the July 2026 session.
Applications are open for various departments of Bharathiar University, and its affiliated colleges in Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur and the Nilgiris districts, and recognised research institutions. Candidates can apply through the university website (www.b-u.ac.in) from June 10 to June 29.
Applicants seeking admission in more than one college must submit separate applications for each college. The application fee is Rs 1,000. However, SC/ST candidates can submit a photocopy of their community certificate and pay an application fee of Rs 500.
The university said applications must be submitted on or before June 29, and incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. Admission will be based on Common Entrance Test marks obtained in May 2026 and in accordance with the university’s rules and regulations.
