Man stabbed by friends after quarrel in east Delhi
NEW DELHI: A man was injured after an alleged knife attack by his friends following an argument in east Delhi’s Krishna Nagar area, police said on Friday.The incident took place on Thursday evening around 9 pm.
The injured man identified as Nazeem, had already been taken to Hedgewar Aarogya Sansthan Hospital, while the accused had fled."After receiving treatment, Nazeem was referred to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital for further medical attention," the police said.Accroding to police, Nazeem told them that some of his friends attacked him with a sharp weapon following an argument and then escaped. He suffered incised wounds on the left side of his upper abdomen and on his left hand.A forensic team arrive at the scene and collected evidence. Police have registered a case under Section 109 (attempt to murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and are working to identify and arrest the accused.
