New Delhi: With the growing popularity of Namo Bharat services, the number of users adopting the app has also witnessed a steady rise. As of Feb, more than 3.6 lakh users are availing a range of services on the app, from digital QR ticketing to real-time train tracking, making it a one-stop solution for smart and hassle-free travel.
“Through the app, passengers can conveniently purchase digital QR tickets for both Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro without standing in queues at ticket counters. In the last three months alone, over 6.7 lakh digital tickets have been sold via the app. Cumulatively, more than 24.7 lakh digital tickets have been booked through the platform till Feb this year,” said an official of National Capital Region Transport Corporation.
For lost belongings, the app includes a ‘Lost and Found’ feature, allowing passengers to register complaints and check items recovered by Namo Bharat staff. Passengers can identify their belongings from the list of recovered items available on the app and claim them by contacting the Lost and Found Centre at Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station after completing the prescribed verification process.
