Police parade history sheeter who targeted businessmen

New Delhi: To remove the fear gangsters instilled among the local businessmen, Delhi police paraded a known history sheeter, Ankit, through north Delhi’s Alipur.The incident stemmed from a criminal named Ankit's extortion attempt against a businessman. When the businessman refused to pay the demanded protection money, Ankit vandalized his factory. A complaint was lodged, and a case was registered. Following an investigation, police apprehended Ankit, who was subsequently paraded through Alipur. Police said they are probing other criminals who were involved in the extortion case.tnn
