6 MLAs appointed as Nagaland CM Rio’s advisers

Dimapur: The Nagaland govt on Monday appointed six members of the Nagaland legislative assembly as the chief minister’s advisers with immediate effect and assigned them to different departments.The cabinet secretariat (cabinet cell), in a notification, said Kuzholuzo Nienu has been allocated science & technology department, Puthai Longon taxes department, Picto Shohe new & renewable energy department, Achumbemo Kikon SCERT & food processing department, Nyusietho Nyuthe NSDMA & inland waterways department and Daochier I Imchen information & public relations and soil & water conservation departments.The notification said the advisers will render their advice on matters referred to them by the concerned departments and provide their views and suggestions before being placed before the respective ministers-in-charge for decision.
