hyderabad: in separate cases, five women committed suicide in hyderabad and the ranga reddy district. a housewife, kavita (25) of bhanodaya sangam near kandikal gate committed suicide by jumping into a well near her house on saturday night. her body was retrieved from the well on sunday morning, according to chatrinaka police. ---- moti bai alias lakshmi (28) of chanda nagar who had set herself ablaze on oct.23, died at the osmania hospital on sunday morning. alleged harassment by her husband b gopal is said to be the reason for her suicide, according to narayanguda police. ---- d lakshmamma (55) of lb nagar, committed suicide by consuming acid at her residence on saturday night. she was immediately rushed to the osmania hospital where she was declared 'brought dead'. lb nagar police are investigating the case. ---- in bansilalpet, a 24-year-old woman committed suicide by setting herself ablaze on saturday night.the woman, devika, on being shifted to the gandhi hospital was declared dead on arrival, gandhi nagar police said. ---- a newly-married woman c balamani(19) of yedulabad, committed suicide by consuming poison on sunday morning reportedly due to severe stomach ache. ghatkesar police registered a case and are investigating. ---- death in accidents a pedestrian, g somappa (28) of hitec city, who was hit by a two-wheeler near ayappa society's office on saturday succumbed to the injuries at osmania hospital on sunday morning, according to madhapur police. ---- in another case, sangmeshwar rao (50) of pedda amberpet, died on the spot after being hit by a motorcycle from rear near lakshmareddy palam crossroads in the hayathnagar police limits on saturday night. ---- an advocate of the high court, raghunath reddy (37) of barkatpura, died on the spot when the scooter he was driving was hit by an hired rtc bus near fever hospital at nallakunta on sunday morning. nallakunta police registered a case against the bus driver and took him into custody. ---- two persons died on the spot when the motorcycle they were driving was hit by a tata sumo on st john's road opposite the gopalapuram police station on sunday night. the deceased were later identified as g satish kumar (21) and r umesh (24) a software engineer, both residents of bapuji nagar in musheerabad. the tata sumo driver was arrested by the police and a case has been registered. ---- body retrieved the saifabad police on sunday retrieved the body of an unidentified man of about 40 years from the hussainsagar. the body which was clad in a white vest and brown trousers has been shifted to the osmania hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification.
